The Dove Valley Practice

The Dove Valley Practice has its main site in Worsbrough Health Centre, a new and modern Health Centre which is also used by other members of the primary care team. The practice has recently taken over premises at 1A Gold Street, Barnsley, from where we intend to provide the same level of service to our patients, We currently have 8 GP's – 4 male and 4 female who offer the full range of medical services you would expect of your local doctor, but in addition we provide travel advice and vaccinations, minor surgery done at Worsbrough and along with our 2 practice nurses, we provide the full range of chronic disease monitoring. We are an accredited training practice offering training to doctors wishing to become GP's, we offer placements to medical students and our Practice Nurse is actively involved in the training of student nurses. We are entirely patient focussed and strive to provide the best service we can to everyone. We are currently looking to set up a patient participation group and would welcome enquiries from any patients who would be interested in joining.
